How your payment is calculated
Installment loans use amortization: each payment is the same, but the split changes over time. Early payments are mostly interest; later ones are mostly principal.
The monthly payment formula is P × r ÷ (1 − (1 + r)−n), where P is the loan amount, r is the APR divided by 12, and n is the number of months.
For example, $2,000 at 17.99% APR over 24 months is about $99.84 a month, with roughly $396 in total interest.
Calculator FAQ
How does the Fast Loan Advance calculator work?
It uses the standard amortization formula to estimate a fixed monthly payment from your loan amount, term and APR, then shows how each payment splits between principal and interest.
Are calculator results an offer?
No. Results are estimates. Your actual APR, fees and payment appear in your loan agreement after you apply.
Does the calculator include origination fees?
No. If your loan has an origination fee, it may be added to your balance, which slightly increases your payment.
How can I lower my monthly payment?
Borrow less, choose a longer term, or improve your credit to qualify for a lower APR. A longer term increases total interest.
